President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Uzbekistan on 16 November for a state visit. In Tashkent, the President of Turkmenistan was met by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral cooperation based on common cultural and spiritual values, as well as historical traditions of friendship and support.
The Turkmen Agricultural Institute has concluded the Second International Scientific and Project Online Competition ‘Agro Innovations: The Path to Sustainable Development’, which was held on 12–13 November. Young researchers from Turkmenistan and ten other countries took part in the event, according to Turkmenportal. Two hundred scientific projects were submitted to the competition. The grand opening was attended by the heads of leading agricultural educational institutions. Participants presented their developments in sections covering key areas of the agro-industrial complex. The projects were evaluated according to criteria of scientific novelty, practical significance and applicability in agricultural production.
On 15 November, in the city of Arkadag, the Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, Oguljahan Atabayeva, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan, Faryal Leghari, and the Head of the UNICEF office in Turkmenistan, Jalpa Ratna. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan held a solemn ceremony to award students and schoolchildren who achieved high results in international competitions. This was reported by IIC. Students from Magtymguly Turkmen State University (TSU), who won six medals at the World Young Physicists Olympiad ‘WYPO 2025’ in Indonesia, were recognized, as well as a team of high school students from Specialized School No. 97 in Ashgabat, who won the FIRST GLOBAL CHALLENGE 2025 robotics competition in Panama. The Grand Prix and gold medal were awarded to TSU student Musa Artykov. Gold was also awarded to Kerim Cherkezov. The team of schoolchildren was recognised for their outstanding performance in the robotics competition. The winners were presented with certificates of honour and valuable gifts.
A delegation from Turkmenistan, under the headship of Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Kerimberdi Gurbanov, took part in the 30th Summit on Trade, Investment, Industry, Technology and Geo-Economic Cooperation, which was held on 14–15 November in the Indian city of Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh state). On 11–12 November 2025, B. Karayev, senior lecturer at the Institute of International Relations of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan, spoke at the ‘Margalla Dialogue 2025’ International Conference organised by the Islamabad Institute of Policy Research (IPRI). From 12 to 14 November, Ashgabat hosted the 18th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference ‘Türkmentel–2025’ and the forum ‘International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development–2025’, reports AsmanNews. On the sidelines of the events, Artur Andrysiak, Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Permanent Mission in Turkmenistan, spoke about the bank's current projects in the country. The International Congress ‘Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia’ continues its work in Tashkent, bringing together researchers and experts, including representatives from Turkmenistan. The forum's programme covers a wide range of topics reflecting the historical roots, cultural traditions and spiritual values of the peoples of the region, according to the state news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’. Special attention was paid to the role of archaeology as an instrument of scientific diplomacy. Turkmenistan is stepping up its participation in regional initiatives aimed at effective water resource management. A delegation from the country took part in the Tashkent seminar ‘Water Issues in Central Asia’, organised as part of the ‘Blue Peace Central Asia’ (BPCA) programme, according to AsmanNews. Representatives of relevant water management agencies and international organisations took part in the discussions.
