The event was an important step in raising the professional standards of the Turkmen media's work with children's issues, which is in line with international principles of child rights protection.
Last week, 31 deals totalling over $4.5 million and 88 million manats were concluded on the platform of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The total amount of domestic transactions exceeded 88 million manats, which indicates consistent demand for the products of national enterprises both in the foreign and domestic markets.

From 6-8 May, Turkmenistan hosted a specialised three-day workshop under the EU BOMCA 10 programme aimed at improving methods of investigating cross-border crimes using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). The training was attended by officers from key agencies of the country, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of National Security, the State Frontier Service, the State Customs Service, the State Migration Service, as well as the Prosecutor General's Office. Ten athletes of Turkmenistan's national kyokushin karate team successfully performed at the X international tournament in Gyumri, Armenia, held on 10-11 May. Under the guidance of coach Atamyrat Khudaiberdiyev, the national team won 10 medals of various merits. This is reported by IIC of Turkmenistan. Turkmen karate fighters showed brilliant results, winning 3 gold medals, 4 silver and 3 bronze awards.
