Turkmenistan expands network of modern medical facilities

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Ashgabat, where he familiarised himself with plans for new medical facilities and held a meeting with relevant officials. This was reported by the news website Asmannews. Among the facilities planned for construction are multi-profile hospitals in Ashgabat and Tejen, a maternal and child health centre in Dashoguz, and a health centre in the Bagtyyarlyk etrap of Ashgabat. They will be equipped with modern equipment and comply with international standards. The Head of State emphasised the importance of quality and construction deadlines, and also instructed that the new medical facilities be equipped with digital technologies and that qualified specialists be trained, including through cooperation with foreign clinics. The meeting discussed the dynamics of work in healthcare, preparations for the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers, as well as the modernisation of medical centres as part of the ‘Saglyk’ state programme, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Serdar Berdimuhamedov called for thorough preparation for the laying of new facilities and the holding of an international exhibition and conference dedicated to the professional holiday. The President of Turkmenistan stressed that work on the development of the national healthcare system and improving the quality of medical services will continue.


Turkmenistan to provide for the construction of a mosque in Azerbaijan

The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship will finance the design and construction of a mosque in the city of Fizuli (Azerbaijan). The relevant contract was signed with the private Turkmen company ‘Aga-gurluşyk’, according to the news website Asmannews. This decision reflects the expansion of the Fund's humanitarian activities and the strengthening of friendly ties between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. The document was signed on the instructions of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. In addition, the Foundation has signed an agreement with the company ‘Sport ýyldyzy’ on the modernisation of the buildings of the ‘Jahan’ creative centre and the ‘Şehitler’ mosque in Turkmenistan, as well as on the construction of a new multifunctional sports complex.


Energy and innovation develop relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan

Turkmenistan strengthens its position on peace and cooperation at a conference in Bishkek

The event was attended by diplomats, representatives of international organisations, government agencies, the scientific community, political scientists and the media. During the speeches, the initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to strengthen international cooperation and trust, announced at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, were presented. Particular attention was paid to Turkmenistan's policy of positive neutrality, which has become the basis for regional and global stability.
