At the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan on 20 June, Turkish businessmen purchased dry extract of licorice root from Turkmen entrepreneurs. Turkmen entrepreneurs also concluded a deal with the Ministry of Textile Industry to purchase cotton yarn. The Ashgabat cinema hosted a screening of the film ‘In August of 1944,’ organised by the Russian and Belarusian embassies in Turkmenistan, according to the news website Turkmenportal. About 50 countries have asked Turkmenistan to help their people leave Iran. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. From 10 to 19 June 2025, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan successfully held a specialised training seminar on modern approaches to risk management. The 10th Central Asian WKF Karate Championships have started in Bishkek, where the Turkmenistan national team demonstrated outstanding results on the first day of the competition.
