Turkmenistan strengthens regional cooperation on water security

‘Türkmen-Innowasiýa’ presented new payment solutions at ‘Türkmentel-2025’

Key initiatives include a national instant payment system for mobile communications, internet, utilities and administrative fines. The company supplies and services equipment throughout Turkmenistan, with offices in all five velayats.
Seydi Oil Refinery boosts production capacity amid neutrality anniversary
15.11.2025Employees of Turkmenistan's oil and gas industry are showing strong results ahead of the country's 30th anniversary of neutrality. This was reported by the state news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’. The industry is implementing large-scale projects for exploration, industrial development, increasing hydrocarbon production and processing, as well as ensuring energy supplies to consumers. The Seydi Oil Refinery, located in the Lebap velayat, is making a significant contribution to the dynamic development of the sector. The enterprise produces hydrocarbon-based products that are in demand, including on international markets. In the first ten months of 2025, the enterprise processed 448,000 tonnes of oil, which is 19.1 percent more than in the same period last year. Of the total volume of products manufactured, 214,000 tonnes were various grades of petrol supplied to consumers. Its output grew by 10.9 percent, confirming a consistent increase in production efficiency. From January to October of this year, the plant also produced 103,700 tonnes of diesel fuel and more than 20,400 tonnes of road bitumen. The growth rate of production of these types of products compared to the same period last year reached 6.8% and 22.9%, respectively. These results were achieved through comprehensive modernisation of the enterprise, the introduction of modern equipment and the creation of conditions that ensure high labour productivity and comfort for employees.

Winners of the ‘Digital Solution’ competition at ‘Türkmentel–2025’ announced
14.11.2025The award ceremony for the winners of the ‘Digital Solution-2025’ competition was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan as part of the closing ceremony of the 18th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference ‘Türkmentel-2025’, one of the main industry events in the field of telecommunications and information technology in the country. This was reported by IIC. The participants' works were evaluated according to a number of criteria, including the relevance and innovativeness of the solutions, economic efficiency, ease of use, design quality, and the availability of source code. Both individual developers and teams of up to three people participated in the competition. As a result of the competition, 42 participants were recognised in seven categories: 7 first places, 14 second places and 21 third places were awarded. The winners received plasma TVs and laptops as prizes. The runners-up were awarded laptops, and those who took third place were awarded tablets. All winners were also awarded corresponding diplomas.
