The delegation of Turkmenistan spoke at the OSCE Human Dimension Conference in Warsaw, organised by Finland and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). Turkmenistan also completed the settlement of all cases of statelessness on its territory, which was confirmed by the UNHCR and cemented the country's leadership in the global #IBelong campaign. A delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, under the headship of its Chairman Mergen Gurdov, took part in the second Turkmenistan-UAE Business Forum, which was held at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS, held in Dushanbe and chaired by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. Turkmenistan will assume the chairmanship of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2026. The decision was made on 10 October at the summit of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Dushanbe, which was attended by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. As part of the US State Department's International Study Tour programme, training sessions on trade, development and finance have begun.
